Inspired By:

I’m inspired by anything from everyday moments and vignettes in my surroundings to the uniqueness and absurdly logical natural world. As well, being around talented, hard-working, and kind people.
Keys to a Successful Project:
A successful project requires having a good team that works well together and is empathetic towards each other, clear communication and expectations, and the willingness to push boundaries and rethink preexisting ideas/processes.
Interests Outside of Work:
Working in ceramics and constantly learning something new about the craft, traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends, family, and our cats Mies and Freyja.

“Design is at the core of Jing’s work. An astute thinker, Jing understands the importance of experience in design today – that design is not simply a commodity, but a process that understands the end user’s behavior, expectations, and impact to the world we live in. Highly collaborative, Jing’s input to the team is always valuable, and makes those around her better as well. Her ability to communicate her layers of thought in a team setting is impressive – from the use of narratives, her own napkin sketches, and techniques through technology, Jing effectively communicates ideas while at the same time, merging the best of others’ ideas to produce effectively provoking design solutions that are both beautiful and relevant.”

What Is Special About It:
I love the arm to leg transition detail! The piece feels cozy and welcoming, but tailored at the same time.
